So far in reading Lord Of The Flies, the readers have met many characters. The main characters are Ralph, Jack, Piggy, and Simon. Ralph is the leader on the island. Piggy is a fat boy that can barely see. He also has asthma, which makes it difficult to help. Jack and Simon are part of a choir. Jack is friends with Ralph now, but I predict that they will get in many fights. Finally Simon is important because he seizes.
I do not get how the kids are not freaking out. They are all so calm. They are just having fun and are always laughing. They are also not going back to the plane. They think they are going to get saved no matter what. Because of that, they aren't doing anything to help people find them. They did start a fire, but it was at night and had no smoke. If they have any chance of surviving, they need to use their brains and work together to make a civilization.
