Fish Out Of Water

This summer I was in Destin with my family and cousins. We have an offshore fishing boat named Geaux Deep. We got ready to go and spend the night on the boat. It was my mom, dad, brothers, two cousins, aunt, and uncle. We left the marina and went to crab island first. We stopped there and swam for a while. It was fun because we jumped off the top of the boat which was was 35 feet tall.

When we left there we took off and we going for 4 hours. We stopped to fish and didn't catch much. We started going again. I glanced over and a huge sea turtle caught my eye. It had the prettiest green on its shell. We got to where we were going to fish and spend the night. It was by a massive drill ship. We didn't have much luck for a while. We put out some poles and we went inside. Our captain was outside watching the poles and saw on bend in half. He ran inside at midnight and told us that there was a large fish on. I hopped off the couch and sat in the fighting chair. I was struggling to reel for 2 hours with the fish pulling me out the chair. We finally got it in the boat at 2 and I was satisfied!

We get back the next day to the marina. When we got there I took pictures with my tuna.It was as tall and more than twice my weight. I struggled to make it stand. While I was taking pictures I noticed that people were surrounding me astonished with my fish. They followed us when we weighed it and cleaned it. I was 170 pounds! We cleaned it and I ate a piece when he just cut it open. It was the best trip they had all fishing season and the best fishing trip of my life!
