Writing Center

Last Wednesday I went to the writing center and met with Alyssa Macaluso. There, she helped me with my literary analysis. First she read my paper and asked for my main points. Then, we read my paper out loud and fixed whatever mistakes she thought could make my paper better. Finally, she asked what I needed help with.

When she asked what I needed help with I had a few specific things in mind. They were the conclusion, embedding quotes, and not sounding so repetitive. She helped me a lot with embedding my quotes. We didn't get to fix all of them, but she helped me understand how to do this. Then she gave me some quick and easy ways I could improve my repetitiveness. Then we ran out of time, but she did tell me what a conclusion she be like and gave me tips. Overall it was very helpful and I wouldn't mind going in without it being required to work on my paper.
