Prompt: Write about the last few weeks of school before winter break.
December is my favorite month. I love the christmas decorations, songs, movies, and everything else. I love when all my family comes over and we give and receive gifts. It is a jolly time with friends and family. We get two weeks off to relax, spend time with everybody, and catch up on rest. Even though there are many good things about December/Christmas, there are exams.
Exams are difficult because it is a huge test that has everything you learned the whole semester on it. Studying can be hard because you have five exams and usually one and a half weeks to study for them. I suggest to always pay attention in class so you understand what you are learning, so you don''t have to review that subject as much. You should also try to study before they give you your study guides. The most important part is not to procrastinate!!
I love December too! It is my favorite part of the year. I also enjoy the holiday songs and movies. I can't believe it is already exam time.
ReplyDeleteI definitely procrastinate, and I need to get better at not doing that! I also like Christmas, too, but I feel like I won't fully be ready for it until exams are over. They are the only thing holding me back from going into complete Christmas mode.
ReplyDeleteI understand how you feel, Anna. I too distract myself with Christmas cheer so much, I forget to study for exams. With that aside, I love how you chose Christmas as a topic to write about. It helps me realize there are good people out there who just want to have a good time with their families.
