I liked summer because it is a break. You can sleep late and don't have to do lots of homework. You don't have to be on a tight schedule all day. You can go places and visit places you have never been.

One thing I did this summer that I never have was parasailing. I was in Destin with my friend Caitlin, Sophia, and Madisyn Paige. When we went in the boat we got nervous. Then it was finally our turn. We got strapped in and took off. At first it was like we just dropped. Then we were high enough to see everything. We got to the top and it was very windy. We were going side to side. It was scary but really fun. We started going down and we dipped our feet in the water. It was refreshing. Caitlin went all the way under the water.

Now it is school again, and it is fun to see my friends and get back to a routine, but I'm counting down the days until summer again.

The Crown by Kiera Cass reminds me of the tv show named The Bachelorette. In the book the main character, Eadlyn, is next in line for the thrown. She is not married and isn't interested in finding someone. Her father then makes her do the selection. This means that she must chose one out of the 35 men competing to marry her. The show also makes the girl pick her new husband out of the ones competing.

With all the boys there she must get to know each one of them just like in the show. Unlike The Bachelorette, she gets to tell people to go home. She struggles to chose one. She goes through lots of drama like when one boy blackmails her, hit her, and some didn't even talk to her.

When it came time for her to choose, she almost picked one guy named Henry. Then she chose Eric and even though he wasn't technically in the selection she would marry him. In the resent season of The Bachelorette the girl that was picking the boys almost chose one guy but then chose the other.
